Project Description
As part of the IB MYP completion requirements for Year 10 students, in all IB schools around the world, students must complete a ‘Personal Project’ related to a topic of their personal interest. This project is completed independently and gives Year 10 students an opportunity to demonstrate and apply what they have learned throughout the MYP years and to show what they are able to accomplish when they set a challenging goal and work to achieve it. Completing the Personal Project is similar to pursuing any challenging goal. Each project requires students to plan, apply the ATL skills, and reflect, as they navigate through the ups and downs of active learning. Since the Personal Project encourages investigating a topic of interest, it often sparks the joy of discovery, which is learning at its best. Tunas Muda held the Personal Project Exhibition on 15-16 February 2024 and this is the climax of the Middle Years Programme and an opportunity for Year 10 students to apply and demonstrate what they have learned through their MYP years. We are very proud of their accomplishments and congratulations Year 10 students!
